Formed in 1985, Circle of Aradia (COA) provides services and education that nurture the spiritual needs of women in Los Angeles. COA serves the community by facilitating public rituals, offering classes in the Dianic tradition and developing the religious leadership skills of women through participatory opportunities. COA is dedicated to providing women with the opportunity and space to express their spirituality both individually and within the community, helping to heal and empower women in their personal lives. COA is committed to fighting racism and homophobia in ourselves and in our community.

In 1993, Circle of Aradia incorporated as a nonprofit religious organization and a local chapter of the Reformed Congregation of the Goddess, which to our knowledge is the first federally recognized women's religion in the United States.

In 2004 Circle of Aradia affiliated with Temple of Diana, Inc., Monona, WI. Temple of Diana, is a religious and educational organization providing services and education to nurture the spiritual needs of women through the teachings and practices of Dianic tradition. Dianic tradition is a feminist, Goddess and woman-centered, earth-based denomination of Wiccan religion revived by Z Budapest, Winter Solstice 1971 in Los Angeles, CA.

COA welcomes all women-born women. There is no membership fee to join COA. A yearly donation to cover mailings and donations for attendance at seasonal ritual celebrations are based on ability to pay, with no woman turned away for lack of funds. COA classes, workshops and special events are always based upon a sliding fee schedule.
